On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to the 11th International Conference on Manufacturing, Machine Design and Tribology (ICMDT 2027), to be held from April 14 to 17, 2027, at Lahan Select Gyeongju in Gyeongju, Korea.
ICMDT is jointly organized by the Korean Society of Mechanical Engineers (KSME) and the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers (JSME) and has been held every two years, alternating between Korea and Japan. Following the successful 10th ICMDT in Himeji, Japan, we are delighted to host the 11th conference in Korea. ICMDT has served as an important forum for researchers and engineers from academia and industry to share recent advances and exchange ideas in manufacturing, machine design, tribology, and related fields.
ICMDT 2027 will feature four distinguished keynote speakers from Korea and Japan, together with technical presentations covering a broad range of research topics. We hope the conference will provide opportunities not only to share research achievements but also to forge new partnerships, strengthen academic cooperation between Korea and Japan, promote interaction between academia and industry, and encourage networking among young researchers.
Gyeongju, the ancient capital of the Silla Kingdom, is one of Korea’s most historic and culturally significant cities. We hope that you will enjoy its rich cultural heritage and warm hospitality during your stay and that your time in Gyeongju will be both professionally rewarding and personally memorable.
